I flipped my atv trying to do a jump

This is the same atv crash as one of the videos below but this is from my buddies cam.  He doesn't actually catch the whole crash, just a fraction of it.  He captures the jump just fine but then turns away for a second while I flip over.  Then he gets it just as I face plant into the sand.

I do a big wheelie and nearly flip over

So, on the way to Sand Lake, I told my buddy that I wanted to try to do some jumps and try to do a wheelie.  I had never done either before.  So we came up on a big hill out in the middle of the dunes and I thought I would try to jump at the top and get some air.  Well it didn't quite work out that way.  I tried to jump and ended up just doing a big wheelie and nearly flipping over backwards.  Good times.

GoPro ATV beach and mud ride Florence Oregon

This was the first week in November 2013 and it was raining like a motherfucker.  I took about 5 hours of video but only this 17 minutes were really usable because the rain really obscured most of the rest of the videos.

This 17 minutes were nice and clear, starting off going to the beach and then riding through some deep water and mud riding to the dunes.

ATV jumping practice on Raptor 700 at Sand Lake

We stopped by a little bump in the sand to practice jumping for the first time.  It was about a 2 foot high bump which is kind of hard to see in the video because it is pretty small.  I think it was at least 10 feet wide though so plenty of area to start jumping.

The first couple of jumps I did, I felt like I almost face planted.  My head kept going over the handle bars when the tires landed.  My fat boy buddy told me it was because I slowed down as soon as I hit the bump.  He said I should give it some gas as soon as I hit it.  So, after I started doing that, the jumps went much better.  Thanks Charles!

This was at Sand Lake, Oregon in November 2013.

GoPro atv trail ride at Sand Lake on Raptor 700

This is a trail ride at Sand Lake Oregon.  We are both riding a Raptor 700.  Last time we were at Sand Lake, we rode these trails counter clockwise.  Big mistake.  We kept running into tons of riders going the opposite direction.  Apparently, there was an unwritten rule to ride the trails clockwise.  Well, nobody told us, goddamn it!

So, this time someone who parked next to us told us that we were supposed to ride clockwise.  Much more fun when you are not running into tons of people every 5 seconds.

This ride was on November 2013 and it was raining like a motherfucker most of the day.  Good thing we had full rain gear with us.

ATV crash at Sand Lake Oregon

This was a crash on my Raptor 700 out at Sand Lake Oregon.  It was poring down rain and we were practicing jumping over a little bump in the sand dunes.  The jump went fine but after it, I tried to slide the rear end out and i ended up face planting in the sand.  Good times :)
